About Us

Oval Community Youth Program Incorporated is a non-profit organization committed to reducing the risk behavior of troubled youth. One of our primary objectives is to exposed today's youth to new and exciting sports activities that will keep them physically, emotionally, and socially active in their communities. As an additional motivator we check report cards, make visits to the schools, monitor compliance with the juvenile system. We maintain a constant interaction with the high school head coaches, athletic directors, as well as college scouts.
We provide indoor comprehensive baseball, softball, basketball and soccer clinic for all students. These clinics introduce students to the fundamentals of sports and the importance of teamwork. Students will enhance their skills in their chosen sport and will participate in tournaments with other schools. Students who are selected to participate in tournament games must be in good academic, attendance and behavioral standing with their day school and after school programs at the time of the competition. we are currently operating on Public School 8, 86, 318 and soon in school 20 in partnership with the Beacon and Phipps Program. In addition to our participant from the above mentioned school, we also serve kids from all over the Bronx County whose family are low income at not cost.
We have created an Inter League Organization, which allows our players to play within the same facility and amongst them. In addition the best players of each team will be chosen to participate in our traveling team which will compete all over the United States.
